After I've composed "Shrine of Amphitrite", I started experimenting with software that could reverse and invert the notes of my original composition. With that and some extra editing I created an entirely new composition. To me it felt like finding ruins of an old temple. It may come across as scattered, but there's still a structure and beauty to be found. I pictured a flood where the Shrine of Amphitrite was submerged until it was found again at the bottom of the sea. This is Ampritites Legacy. The track can be used for simply listening, but also to relax, study or meditate on the energy of the sea goddess. Enjoy!

about

Hans Hylkema Zwolle, Netherlands

I make original compositions inspired by fantasy, history and folkore. Some sound more authentic, while others have a more dramatic "soundtrack" feel to them. Think of atmospheric fantasy, medieval dances and Spanish renaissance music.
